Open to the public and friendly crowd. Inexpensive drinks and food.  Large area for dancing. Located in downtown Silver Spring, a few blocks off of Georgia, on the NW corner of Sligo Ave and Fenton St. (Not to be confused with the Wheaton American Legion in downtown Wheaton.) Entrance at 8110 Fenton St.  Look for the blue awning. Plenty of inexpensive parking ($1 per hour meters in effect until 10 pm) in adjacent Montgomery County parking lot and parking garage.
