“Wolf” Crescenze began playing bass with various bands in the DC area during the garage band era of the 60s, most notably with Sassafras Tea.
 
More recently, he has been seen onstage performing with Pinetop Perkins, Guitar Shorty, Zac Harmon, Tab Benoit, The Nighthawks' Mark Wenner, Frederic Yonnet, Steve Guyger, Ruby Hayes, Linwood Taylor, Bret Littlehales (aka Big Boy Little), Memphis Gold, Daryl Davis, Steve "Baby Jake" Jacobs, Robert Frahm, Matt Kelley, Nadine Rae, Clarence “The Bluesman” Turner, Rusty Bogart, Mike Westcott, Wave Milor, Andy Hamburger, Bill "The Wandering Greek" Pappas, Joe Wells, Mark Stutso, Pete Ragusa, Tom Maxwell, Lisa Lim, Andy Poxon, Paul Pfau, Zach Sweeney, Michael Tash, Fast Eddie, The Skyla Burrell Band, Hot Rods & Old Gas, The Idle Americans, ACME Blues Company, One Bad Jack and DrMove. 
 
Presently, besides gigging with his regular projects--Big Boy Little Band and Still Standing--he hosts numerous open blues jams in the Northern Virginia, DC and Maryland areas with his blues jam band, "Still Standing." 
 
Besides music, over the years, Wolf’s interests include building, painting and driving street rods and custom motorcycles.  He is also considered one of the top carousel restoration artists in the country, having restored over 400 figures.  www.carouselrestorations.com  He has a large Coca-Cola and country store memorabilia collection, as well as an ever-growing collection of left-handed Fender basses.
